About TEXTBLUE
TextBLUE is an interactive text and multimedia messaging platform that delivers real-time chat in advance of the pending NG911 standards. It works on any phone on any mobile network and is independent of the 911 telephone system. The solution can be integrated with CAD and/or the 911 call switch or it can be deployed stand alone. It can be extended to include dispatch and emergency alerts.

Text and multimedia reports
A picture is worth a thousand words. How about a million for video? Millions of camera phones now act as your eyes and ears on the street.
The mobile user and the PSAP call taker engage in a text chat session. The user may submit text, pictures, and video which can be viewed on the screen, forwarded to first responders, and/or stored for evidentiary purposes. The TextBLUE web interface provides a medium for continually receiving and responding to text messages.
We aggregate messages from either one of our own memorable short codes or the client's. AGENT511 offers a web interface for clients who optionally wish to register and validate.
The handset's location is used to geospatially route messages and messages can be transferred both within and between PSAPs.

AGENT511 now combines the mobile phone location with text messaging on the major carriers. While text messaging is not completely immune to "spoofing;" it is more difficult to hack than many IP technologies. And moreover, AGENT511's patent-pending chat technology maintains the state of the text chat session, making it seem more like a standard voice call or IM exchange.
AGENT511 now incorporates language detection and delivery confirmation. This enhances robustness and provides a seamless user experience. Delivery confirmation provides the status of messages from the PSAP to the mobile phone user.

Dispatch and outbound messaging
In cooperation with CAD, TextBLUE dispatches multimedia to the field and is capable of broadcasting both voice and text messages. Messages can be created in real-time or scheduled. Authorized administrators are provided access to AGENT511's password-protected portal to edit and send messages to subscribers or recently contact list uploads.
